S&T Austria: Richard Neuwirth Appointed as the New Managing Director

S&T Austria successfully concludes restructuring phase

Effective October 1, 2011, Richard Neuwirth assumed the position of Managing Director at S&T Austria GmbH, where he most recently managed the company’s sales operations. S&T Austria employs a staff of about 200 people and supports renowned companies such as SPAR, Novomatic, Porsche Austria, voestalpine, OMV and Energie AG. Following far-reaching changes which in terms of earnings have led to the desired profits and successes since June 2011, S&T Austria can conclude its restructuring project. The subsidiary of the S&T Group with the highest revenue generated total revenue of EUR 31.4 million in the first half of 2011.

Richard Neuwirth successfully set up a customer-based, regionally-oriented sales organization. The graduate in business administration and law boasts longstanding international sales experience in IT products and services. He has been employed by S&T AG since 2006, holding a key management position with responsibility for the Group-wide Infrastructure Solutions business in 19 countries. Before becoming Sales Manager of S&T Austria, he served as the Managing Director of the Bulgarian S&T subsidiary in Sofia.

Neuwirth will continue to focus on strengthening S&T Austria’s sales team, attracting new customers and strategically further development the project and long-term service business. Together with the previous management team of S&T Austria consisting of Anita Roschitz (Delivery), Isabella Uiberacker (Human Resources) and Andreas Mader (Finance), the company aims to determinedly and successfully continue on the strategic path it has defined.
The mandate of Managing Director Eduard Bugelnig expires at the conclusion of the restructuring project as at September 30, 2011.
